About configuring SAML 2

The system supports Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 2. Configuring SAML involves an Identity Provider (IdP), a Service Provider (SP), a circle of trust, account authentication, and various other configuration elements. The system can be configured to use IdP-initiated SAML or SP-initiated SAML. The system requires encryption for both IdP- and SP-initiated SAML.

When you add XML content to the Metadata URL or XML text box under the Add New Identity Provider section, you should download the XML configuration, open it in a text editor, and then copy it from the text editor to the text area. Do not copy and paste from the browser. If you do, extra elements may be accidentally copied.

Agencies must have the ability to configure SAML and understand your configuration. For additional information about SAML, contact UKG Professional Services.
